At the Meeting:

We discussed a little re-organization and assigning of duties, as well as assistance from volunteers.

Robin has volunteered to take over the refreshments for the monthly meeting. As I mentioned to her the New York Strips should be medium-rare with a vidalia onion ring garnish, and the iceburg lettuce cool, crisp and fresh. Okay Robin, you have your work cut out for you - lets see you do your thing. :)

Stephanie has offered space on her server which for now will provide a mirror site, as we explore the variety of new features and services available on her server. Some of the possibilities are live voice chat rooms using her new voice chat software which seems to work quite nicely. Indepth message boards, better access to cgi and forms, etc. This opens up a lot of possibilities for the website. Thank you Stephanie!

We discussed ways to organize our meetings better. The loose friendly atmosphere is nice, but a real agenda is needed to give our meetings more purpose so we can accomplish more. A few have volunteered to speak on specific subjects. If you have a subject upon which you are knowledgable and willing to share with the group please come forward and let it be known.

Our newsletter is also here for the purpose of sharing information. I would like to put up some quality information, especially some of the latest events and legal issues concerning the transgender community, and us personally in our local area. I know some of our members are literally a wealth of information with sources everywhere. I know at least those of you who have had to put up with my questions, know who I am talking about. I would like to ask you to forward any articles, stories, news, links or whatever you run across to us so it can possibly be used on our website or newsletter. I have gotten this site off to a start, but I need help so everyone isn't forced to put up with my silly ramblings or needless torture.

See you next month!
